On a walk starting from Buckland Common on 16 September, I found a surprising amount of picturesque, abandoned machinery. The photos are now up on Flickr. Here are a few samples.

Last weekend I went for another walk in Ballinger Common. This time I took another route. The sweet jars below I found in the window of an abandoned shop in Lee Common. You can see the set on Flickr or the slideshow.

I've been taking photos of my garden on a roughly weekly basis over the last year and a half. The result is a Weekly Garden photo set with 45 photos in it on Flickr. It's probably best watched as a slide show to appreciate the changing seasons.

Here are two examples of recently uploaded photos. This one is from the end of April this year.

Ewe and Lamb
Originally uploaded by Mjausson.
On April Fool's Day I walked up to the neolithic longbarrow at Belas Knap, Glos, to watch the sunset.

I met this ewe and her lamb on the circular walk to Winchcombe and back to the car that I took afterwards.

You can see all ten photos at Flickr.

Yesterday I brought the camera in to work. I took photos both on the commute in and on the way from Farringdon to Holborn in the afternoon. This was the first photo I took. It's from the corner of Greville Street and Farringdon Road. Unusually for me both this and many other photos contain people.

I followed instructions for creating a mosaic out of lots of photos and the result is a Flickr set using various layer modes. The photo here uses the Darken layer mode.

Garden 25 March 2006
Originally uploaded by Mjausson.
I've created up a set for weekly garden photos. The plan is to take a photo of the same part of the garden once a week and post it on Flickr. So far I've got two photos. This is last week's photo. In the photo from today many more daffodils are flowering.

Henley-on-Thames at Dusk
Originally uploaded by Mjausson.
I've started a new set on Flickr. It's meant to contain the photos from [livejournal.com profile] puneets and my walk in Stonor. So far it contains two photos: a chilly view from Stonor that I've shown here before, and this photo from Henley on Thames taken at dusk. That was the last photo for the day.
