Back in April, Kieron and I visited Snowshill. I posted a few photos then. Here are more.

Bonus photo: Young ginger barn cat
This is the same cat that was cuddling with Kieron in a photo I published earlier. He liked to be up high.

Kieron and I went out walking in the Forest of Dean today. We started at Newnham and walked up to the lookout point in Blaize Bailey. On the way back, we met this ginger tom. He wanted to cuddle, but only if he could look down on us from the fence.

I think Kieron looks as if he's telling the cat how he's going to eat him but in reality he was just telling it that it was cute. He is a veggie, after all.

Anemone blanda at Snowshill Manor gardens We went to Snowshill Manor to look at the garden on Saturday. It's an Arts and Crafts garden in the Cotswolds with lots of little nooks and crannies. Today it's owned by the National Trust. While the garden was very pretty, the high point of the visit was meeting Tinker, the manor cat.

I was out walking in the sunshine on Saturday when I met this snugly chinchilla Persian. She meowed at me, flopped over onto the warm sidewalk and wanted to be petted.

Antique shop cat -- click for larger I'm slowly but surely beavering away on the photos from my holiday in Provence in May. This one was just too cute not to share right away. It's a cat I met outside an antiques shop in Buis-les-Baronnies.
